Winning the 4th of six heats was a great start for the
"250." Corey cruised to the win from an outside front row starting spot after an
excellent draw.
Starting fourth in the
"250" outside of Ben Rowe, Corey ran with the lead pack through a couple of
restarts and then slipped back in the pack. Some stops for chassis adjustments turned out
to be going in the wrong direction when a tire was found to be done to 8 pounds of air.
Further stops and adjustments to get back from the previous changes left Corey a couple
laps down but now running well.
Staying clear of
incidents and blown motors that took many top competitors out of the race, Corey ran
smoothly to a top ten finish, racing with cars that finished in the top five. |
