White Mountain - Sat. September 16th
20th Place - PASS 150
A good run in the heat at White Mountain - with a little
three wide excitement - earned a 8th place starting spot for the 150. A little adjustment
to the right front fender eliminated tire rubbing and smoking.
Right from the start of the feature, the #47 started to lose grip. Apparantly
a small puncture was slowly letting air out. But the tire didn't go way down until the
slow running at the first caution that came after the 100 lap mark. A stop for a fresh
tire dropped Corey to the back of the field with too few laps to make much progress
towards the front. In the standings, 5th to 8th are only seperated by 20 points, with
Corey in the middle in 7th.
