A nice start to the day with a first
place draw for the heat and a first place heat run from flag to flag. Corey started
second for the feature next to Dale Shaw.
A the green Corey stayed with the top fast Fords and nosed ahead of Dale Shaw to
lead one lap. But the #47's handling went away and several pit stops for adjustments
failed to help.
Towards the end of the race, further chassis changes made the #47 much better, and
Corey made some great moves to avoid several big crashes.
A ninth place, the first car one lap down, was a fine result on a night that saw
many top PASS contenders post surprisingly poor results.
