Corey Williams pitted several times to adjust the handling on his #47 car. However, his
finish wasn’t quite as good at the end. Williams came home in 14th.
“It’s been pretty much the same problem that we’ve been having, the car is
very inconstant in the race. We’ve been fighting with the same things week in and
week out. We’re going to try a different car for the Oxford 250 and work on switching
things over to see if we can get a better result. We’re going to build a Howe car
with a new SS snout. It’s pretty much a rolling chassis now. We just have to hang a
body and put our motor in. We’ll be busy, but I think it will pay off.”
