Corey started off the PASS season with a productive day of practice at the NH
quarter mile bowl on a perfect Saturday. Time trials on Sunday afternoon saw the #47
post a 12.622 second lap for 19th position. In the second qualifying heat, Corey
placed fourth and recorded a fast lap of
12.504, a very strong showing.
In the feature, the #47 raced solidly in mid-pack for a green flag run that lasted
60 laps. A couple of yellows followed, and on one of those Corey lost a fender and
bent a spindle in a tangle in turn two and had to retire.
Fortunately not a lot of damage, but enough to end the hope for a full
150 lap run for the #47.
