Back on the PASS circuit with a
new motor, Corey scorched a
12.664-second lap to post the 7th
fastest time of 40 PASS entries
and join the
Top Ten in the Dash for the
first time. The redraw moved
Corey to 6th.
In the Dash, Corey had eventual
top finishers Larry Gelinas and
Johnny Clark move on by. The #47
placed 9th.
In the 150 lapper, Corey ran in
the group just behind the top
ten including David Avery and
Ben Rowe. A tap in close racing
brought on a spin in turn two
but a return to racing.
The #47 retired on lap 78 with
mechanical problems. Once again
power steering pump and fluid
problems had ended the run.
