The hardy fans at Riverside
Speedway in Groveton, NH that
braved a couple of hours of rain
delays were treated to a great
race on Sat 8/7.
Heats and the dash were
cancelled as the program ran
late, so a quick round of time
trials were run and the cars
placed into the feature
accordingly. The 150 feature
started at about 11:00 PM with
Corey in 15th spot. Running
against about 250 years of Pro
Stock experience, Corey moved up
and was battling with the best.
The first 96 laps were run
caution free with great dices
all through the field. Corey
kept moving up and missing any
incidents. With the 47 good near
race end, Corey was contesting
4th to 7th, and took the
checkers in 5th. That best ever
PASS finish earned Corey
Northern Tire Rookie of the Race
honors. Corey's schooling by the
pros is really paying off.
