A second trip to Canaan, NH and
Canaan Fair Speedway was on the
schedule for Williams Brothers
Racing on Sunday, August 29th.
Gloomy skies and a threat of
rain shuffled the schedule
around yet again. Corey posted a
14.431 lap for 18th quickest in
Time Trials and a fourth place
start in Heat 2. Hard racing in
the heat - with a couple neat of
inside moves in turn two -
gained no spots. Starting 18th
in the feature that was moved to
the front of the schedule, Corey
ran in the second pack and
looked like he was settling in
to a solid run. But the #47
slowed and retired on lap 33.
Scoring 172 points for the day,
Corey remains 18th in the points
standings.
